Was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade on check-in to a two bedroom apartment with a lovely sea view from the balcony and main bedroom. Jane checked me in and was very helpful and friendly. I had a small suv rental car and my allocated carpark was a tight squeeze next to a pole, but luckily no one parked on one side of me which was a relief! "Stayed one night stop over. Room as excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the Lamb Shank meat feel off the bone. Would definitely recommend the Commercial Hotel Boonah as a great place to stay."

"Such a relaxing stay in these very private, very large motel-room like 1/2 cabins that have their own carport and covered outside sitting area. Loved looking out over the green grassy slope and seeing kangaroos morning and late afternoon. A very quiet and peaceful place. Bonus having an amazing restaurant here too."

"Its an old pub, for an overnighter it was fine, limited facilities but you get what you pay for. Staff very helpful and very clean, lots of stairs, Indian Hut nearby was superb, very happy with my quick stopover in Boonah!"

"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. The upside is that there's almost no one there mid week so you almost have the place to yourself. The nearby pub and cafe/Indian...
